Sun Kil Moon share new track ‘Garden Of Lavender’
The ten-minute track previews new album, ‘Universal Themes’.

Sun Kil Moon have shared a new track titled ‘Garden Of Lavender’, ahead of the release of new album ‘Universal Themes’ on 1st June.
The ten-minute ballad follows the recently shared tracks ‘Ali/Spinks 2’ and lead single ‘The Possum’, with ‘Universal Themes’ out on Mark Kozelek’s Caldo Verde Records.
Delivered by stream-of-consciousness, ‘Garden Of Lavender’ is Kozelek as an acoustic balladeer, initially desolate and sparse before a choir joins him, concluding with a spoken-word recital about playing in London, watching Gomez and being heckled by a fan.
Catch Sun Kil Moon at London Barbican (1st June), Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club (3rd June) and Latitude (16th - 19th July). Listen to ‘Garden Of Lavender’ via Spin.com below.
