Sun Kil Moon announces new album

Sun Kil Moon have announced a new album ‘Universal Themes’ will be released this year. The follow-up to last year’s ‘Benji’ will be released by Caldo Verde Records on 2nd June.

Sonic Youth member Steve Shelley features on the album, confirmed by Mark Kozelek in an interview earlier this year. ‘Universal Themes’ was recorded late last year in San Francisco and Hoboken, and features the recent single ‘The Possum’.
