Supersport! share new track ‘Hring eftir hring’

Lifted from their forthcoming debut album, ‘tveir dagar’.

Part of brand new project from the legendary underground music and arts collective post-dreifing, Icelandic indie-pop newbies Supersport! are stating their case for song of the summer, sharing new sunshine-soaked single ‘Hring eftir hring’, lifted from their forthcoming debut album, ‘tveir dagar’.

Teaming up with The Vaccines’ Árni Árnason, who produced the record, the band’s Bjarni Daníel says of their new single. “Hring eftir hring - which translates to ‘Round and around’ - is a thought about how linear time perception is not always relevant to the human experience, as that has come so clearly to light during the isolation of the past year. Rather, understanding time as loops and overlapping circles can be a much stronger way to consider it. More importantly, though, it’s a pop-song - a sun-baked, and bright, guitar heavy alt-pop banger.”
