The Antlers unveil new video for ‘Refuge’

The Brooklyn band have revealed a new video for the ‘Familiars’ cut.

Following up the release of their fifth album, The Antlers have released a brand new video.

Accompanying their cut ‘Refuge’, the clip’s a dreamy affair that zooms in on swirling mists of smoke. A little like watching a black and white sky go by, with dark clouds gradually moving across the screen and swirling themselves into colours, it matches the pace and introspection of the track wonderfully.

The clip comes just a few months after the release of their fifth full-length ‘Familiars’, which was released back in June. “‘Familiars’ may not bee as obviously fervently intense as their previous work,” reads our review of the record, “but the truth is its emotional weapons have just been wrapped in a beautiful bow.”

The band have also confirmed plans for their first show of 2015, which will take place at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on 13th February.
