The Dare drops pounding new album preview ‘You’re Invited’
Having just produced the Billie Eilish and Charli XCX collab ‘Guess’, he’s having one hell of a brat summer.
NYC’s The Dare has today shared the latest track from his anticipated debut album ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’ (out on 6th September), following the release of sweaty lead single ‘Perfume’ back in June.
The new cut also comes in the wake of last week’s huge new ‘BRAT’ remix ‘Guess’ (this time featuring Billie Eilish); not only did The Dare produce Charli’s latest, he also starred in its video too.
Recorded in New York (where else?) over the past year, The Dare’s ’00s revivalist LP features collaborations with the likes of Dylan Brady (100 gecs), Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, FKA twigs, Dua Lipa), Romil Hemnani (Brockhampton) and more, and promises to see his cult appeal - as both a live performer and a DJ - go decidedly overground.
Check out the video for ‘You’re Invited’ below.
