The Districts air session for BBC Radio 6 Music
Philadelphia group stopped by midway through a UK tour.
Yesterday, Philadelphia band The Districts played a session for Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 6 Music show.
Midway through their current UK tour, the group spoke about SXSW experiences, “sweaty shows” and how they put together their latest album ‘A Flourish and a Spoil’, out now on Fat Possum.
For the 6 Music session, Robbie Grote and co. played ‘Heavy Begs’ and ‘4th and Roebling’. Listen back to the session below.
Tonight (28th April) The Districts headline London Scala, with Broncho in support. They’re also set to play Reading & Leeds, 28th-30th August.
