The Great Escape confirms English Teacher, Welly, Nxdia and more for 2025 lineup
Over 100 artists have been added to the bill for the May weekender.
The Great Escape - Brighton’s annual new music showcase festival - has announced a whole host of new names due to perform at this year’s event, including Mercury Prize winners English Teacher.
It’s by no means the first time the Leeds-formed quartet have played TGE, but they’ll be returning in May to headline the inaugural Billboard UK Live stage, giving a of a lap of honour for their stellar 2024 debut LP ‘This Could Be Texas’.
Elsewhere, quickly rising outfits such as Welly, Nxdia, She’s In Parties, and Adult DVD are also set to take to stages across Brighton, while more established favourites like FEET, Home Counties, and Miso Extra will also be peddling their musical wares.
All these and many more join an already stacked bill of artists confirmed for TGE 2025, including this year’s spotlight show stars: Pete Doherty, Warmduscher, Trampolene, and Rizzle Kicks.
The Great Escape 2025 will take place from 14th-17th May in various venues across Brighton. You can grab tickets - including single day and two-day tickets - from the festival’s website, and check out some highlights of this year’s lineup below.
