The Horrors aren’t happy about having their music used in Ed Miliband’s Labour speech
“Our colour isn’t red, it isn’t blue, it’s black,” tweeted keyboardist Tom Cowan.
Earlier today, The Horrors’ ‘I See You’ was used as background music during Ed Miliband’s keynote speech on future Labour party policy, ahead of the 2015 general election.
Alongside tracks from Pharrell and Laura Mvula, it was The Horrors’ inclusion that prompted an immediate response.
In tweets have have since been deleted, keyboardist / synth wizard of the band Tom Cowan responded online saying: “fucks sake” / “leave it out Ed.” / “keep your outdated political ideologies away from us.” / “our colour isn’t red, it isn’t blue, it’s black.”

‘I See You’ is taken from the 2014 LP ‘Luminous’, which gained a five star review and a DIY cover feature back in May of this year.
