The Horrors’ Tom Furse releases charity single, ‘The Planets (As Told By Satellite)’
Proceeds from the release go to Gloucestershire’s Holst Birthplace Museum.
The Horrors’ trusty synth wizard Tom Furse has released a new charity single, ‘The Planets (As Told By Satellite)’.
The new release sees him creating a 25-minute piece, based on Gustav Holst’s orchestral suite The Planets. All proceeds from the single go towards The Holst Birthplace Museum, in Gloucestershire.
“As the likelihood of any sensible record label releasing such a work is rather low, I thought I might as well put it out myself for fun and hopefully raise a bit of money for the museum as well, which runs music programmes for kids amongst other things,” says Furse.
