The Smashing Pumpkins announce London headline show
The band will be playing three European shows this December, including a stop-off at London’s Koko.
The Smashing Pumpkins are currently gearing up to release their brand new album ‘Monuments to an Elegy’, and - as if that’s not enough - they’ve now announced a handful of live shows.
The band, led by Billy Corgan, will be playing three European shows this December including a date at London’s Koko.
Their full tour dates - which also land ahead of ‘Monuments to an Elegy’s release on 8th December - boast stops in Berlin and Paris, before the outfit head back over the Atlantic to perform in New York.
The band have also confirmed that, alongside Corgan and Jeff Schroeder, both Brad Will (of Rage Against The Machine) and Mark Stroermer (of The Killers) will join the line-up of the band. “We’re absolutely thrilled and humbled to have Brad and Mark helping us out with these shows,” said Corgan, in a press release, “and if our rehearsals are any indication they should be one-of-a-kind.”
Their upcoming live plans look like this:
NOVEMBER
30 Kesselhaus, Berlin, Germany
DECEMBER
05 Koko, London, UK
06 Le Trabendom Paris, France
08 Webster Hall, New York, NY
Tickets for the London show will go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday 19th November) at 9am.
The band also revealed a new cut to be taken from their album, ‘Tiberius’, yesterday. Have a listen to the track below.
