The Smiths Albums Remastered For iTunes

’ entire back-catalogue is being remastered and subsequently re-released on iTunes to mark the 30th anniversary of the Manchester group’s self-titled debut album.

With ‘The Smiths’ first coming out in 1984, ‘85’s ‘Meat Is Murder’, ‘86’s ‘The Queen Is Dead’ and final album, 1987’s ‘Strangeways, Here We Come’, are all included. There’s also the addition of ‘Hatful of Hollow’ and ‘The World Won’t Listen’, compilation of rare recordings. Live album ‘Rank’ is also available.

Everything has been remastered with the intention of ‘replicating the intentions of the artists, producers and recording engineers.’
