The Walkmen Announce New Album Details
The band have announced plans to release their seventh album.

The Walkmen have announced plans to release their new studio album ‘Heaven’.
The band’s seventh release will come out through Fat Possum and Bella Union on the 5th June, and was recorded with producer Phil Ek.
Pitchfork has reported The Walkmen-frontman Hamilton Leithauser as making the following comments regarding the album, in a press release sent out earlier today: ‘The detachement you can feel throughout our younger records is gone. We felt like it was time to make a bigger, more generous statement.’
It also appear that Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold will appear on the track ‘No One Ever Sleeps’.
The band have revealed a trailer for ‘Heaven’ and it can be viewed below.
The band last released their sixth album ‘Lisbon’ in September 2010. They have also recently finished touring in celebration of the ten year anniversary of their debut album ‘Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone’.
