The Walkmen Preview New Album With ‘Heaven’

The band’s seventh release will come out through Fat Possum and Bella Union.

The Walkmen will preview new album ‘Heaven’ will the title track, now streaming via Soundcloud.

The band’s seventh release will come out through Fat Possum and Bella Union on the 5th June, and was recorded with producer Phil Ek.

The Walkmen-frontman Hamilton Leithauser made the following comment about the release ‘The detachement you can feel throughout our younger records is gone. We felt like it was time to make a bigger, more generous statement.’

It also appear that Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold will appear on the track ‘No One Ever Sleeps’.

The Walkmen have recently revealed plans for a one-date stop off in London later this year.

The band will perform at London’s Village Underground on June 12th, a week after the release of their seventh studio album ‘Heaven’.

The Walkmen recently performed a tenth anniversary tour to mark a decade since the release of ‘Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone’.
