Theo Verney Announces New EP, Streams ‘Count It Up’
Brighton’s noisiest new prospect releases ‘Heavy Sunn’ this October.
Recently Neu profiled Brighton scuzz freak Theo Verney and band have been recruited onto Hate Hate Hate Records (The Wytches, Loom) for the release of a new EP.
‘Heavy Sunn’ follows on from the noise-specialist label’s sold out releases with a 300 edition, out on 21st October.
‘Count It Up’ is the EP’s closing track. Spanning just over the 1 and a half minute mark, it’s a shamelessly brief taste of breathtaking fuzz, never letting up in its short spree. The garage rock equivalent of supermarket sweep? Something like that.
