Third Man Records To Release White Stripes’ ‘Elephant’ Singles On Vinyl
Singles from the 2003 LP are being remastered and ‘tidied up visually with a special new release.”

Subscribers to Third Man Records’ Vault series of exclusive releases are in for a treat. Jack White’s label is set to print and distribute all four singles from The White Stripes’ ‘Elephant’ LP: ”Seven Nation Army’ / ‘I Just Don’t Know What to Do With Myself’ / ‘The Hardest Button to Button’ / ‘There’s No Home For You Here’.
Each single has been remastered from its 2003 original, with artwork spell-checked and ‘tidied up’ by the label. For the sleeves - and this is one for vinyl fans to salivate over - the label’s used a process called ‘soft touch aqueous coating,’ which sounds fancy, and it is. It means they feel like ‘a hybrid between rubber and lambskin’, apparently. Vinyl comes in red, black or white form and it’s all collated in a custom-made box, as above.
