Transgressive Records shares rare Flume ‘Possum’ download to celebrate 10 year anniversary
UK label is blowing out its birthday candles in style this year.
This September, Transgressive Records is going all-out with fanciful celebrations to celebrate being 10 years to the good. Each day this month, the London-based label is offering out a special rarity/free download to fans and followers, and they’re kicking things off with a rarity from Aussie producer Flume.
With Harley Streten having just played a gigantic headline set at Reading & Leeds’ Dance Stage, an ‘oldie’ from his early days is being given away for free. ‘Possum’ initially emerged around the time of his debut 12”, ‘Sleepless’, and it’s available on bootleg form, but this is the first time it’s been made available for DL.
In this month’s DIY, we speak to Transgressive founders Toby and Tim about their insane first ten years, and why they’re looking ahead to the future. The September issue is out on Friday 5th.
