Rumours are currently circulating that Truck America Festival 2011 has been cancelled.
According to a post on Brooklyn Vegan, ‘a source says it was not due to ticket sales, but rather related to a not-so-great turnout at the July UK version of the fest.’
There doesn’t appear to be an official statement yet - be it to confirm or deny the story - with no mention on the festival’s website, Facebook or Twitter.
The event was set to take place Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY, from 9th - 11th September. The likes of The Hold Steady, Okkervil River and Ra Ra Riot were confirmed to play.
