Two new Rihanna tracks emerge online
The songs are from the soundtrack to Home, which Rihanna also stars in. Meanwhile, still no sign of #R8…
Rihanna promised earlier this year that new snippets from #R8 - the unofficial name that’s been given to her as-of-yet unconfirmed eighth album - would be arriving “little by little”. Lately we’ve heard RiRi’s collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, ‘FourFiveSeconds’, as well as ‘Towards The Sun’, from the official soundtrack to Home. Rihanna voices Tip Tucci in the film, and stars alongside Jim Parsons - best known as Sheldon from Big Bang Theory - Jennifer Lopez, and Steve Martin.
Now two new Rihanna songs have emerged online, both from the Home soundtrack. ‘Dancing In The Dark’ is standard-fare soundtrack pop, jaunting along in fairly straightforward, upbeat fashion. ‘As Real As You and Me’ brings far more ballady clout to the table. Its stripped back feel is indicative of the general direction that RiRi seems to be heading in for #R8. Listen to both tracks below.
