The answer
VANT’s debut album ‘Dumb Blood’ is out next February!
A new sneaky peek comes in the shape of all-new ‘Peace & Love’.
It’s been a wild whirlwind for VANT so far. From hitting the road with INHEAVEN and The Big Moon on DIY’s very own Neu Tour back in 2015, to getting their first turn on some of the summer’s biggest stages this summer, their feet have barely had time to touch the floor. And now, wasting no time whatsoever, they’ve confirmed details of their hotly-awaited debut.
VANT’s first full-length is called ‘Dumb Blood,’ and comes out on 17th February. Along with the exciting news, they’ve shared a sneaky first peek in the shape of ‘Peace & Love’.
The band also hit the road for a tour next month, with the ace PARTYBABY supporting. Along the way, they play their biggest headline show to date at London’s Scala. Full details here.
Speaking about the single, Matty Vant said: ““We finished writing ‘Peace & Love’ in the wake of the Paris attacks. Atrocities like these are taking place worldwide on a daily basis, but it’s only when something happens so close to home that it truly grabs the full attention of our society. We live on a planet that has forgotten what the words ‘Peace & Love’ mean and what they stood for in the 60s and 70s. The power of the peace movement changed the world forever but our unity is starting to slip. ‘Peace & Love’ have become throwaway words, fashion statements, cheap symbols that have lost their value. We need to reconnect with their true meaning because, more than ever, we are living in a time that really does need ‘Peace & Love’.”
Well there you go then. Listen to ‘Peace & Love’ below.
