Villagers Announce New Single, ‘The Bell’, Post Video

The song features on the band’s latest album, ”.

Villagers might be out on tour across the UK currently - they perform at Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms tonight (18th February) before heading back to Ireland for some dates via London’s Village Underground - but they’ve still found time to announce details of another single from recent album, ”.

‘The Bell’ is the next song to be taken from the band’s January-released second record, and will be released on 8th April, once again via Domino.

A video for the song has been shared online today to coincide with the announcement, featuring both live performance footage of the band filmed in Donegal with Sebastien Escalante, and animation. It was directed by Alden Volney.
