Villagers announces new album, ‘Darling Arithmetic’, shares ‘Courage’ video
Conor O’Brien strips things back even further with a new clip - plus see UK & Ireland dates.
Conor O’Brien aka Villagers has announced details of his new album, ‘Darling Arithmetic’.
His third album is due out 13th April on Domino, following on from ‘Awayland’. Self-produced at O’Brien’s Malahide, Ireland home, it’s a stripped back extension of the songwriter’s previous two LPs, led by a toned-down, simmering new track, ‘Courage’.
The new song arrives alongside a dimmed, performance footage video, which sees a slimped-back O’Brien hushing his way through a gorgeous five minutes.
Alongside a previously confirmed appearance at BBC 6 Music Festival, Tyneside, Villagers will play three additional UK & Ireland dates.
