Wallice shares new single ‘Gut Punch Love’
It’s the third track to be taken from her forthcoming debut album ‘The Jester’.

Fresh from announcing details of her debut album last month, LA-based singer Wallice has shared another taste of it.
Having already offered up two singles from her forthcoming debut full-length ‘The Jester’ - in the form of ‘Heaven Has To Happen’ and ‘The Opener’ - she’s now returned with a third offering, ‘Gut Punch Love’, which was inspired by a rather tragic story involving her mother’s fiancé, who disappeared in Osaka back in the ’80s, having been killed by Yakuza violence. “You can’t necessarily hear the amount of tragedy in the song, because it feels like an alternative-rock song,” Wallice has said, of the deceptively warm track. “But it is tragic, and I think it’s an important story.”
Wallice is set to follow last year’s ‘Mr Big Shot’ EP with her first full-length when it gets released on 15th November via Dirty Hit. Made in the wake of her dream-come-true slot opening for The 1975 on their world tour last year, the album is set to be fourteen tracks in length.
