Watch: Angel Olsen Unveils ‘Forgiven/Forgotten’ Video
Zia Anger-directed clip is shot on 16mm; contains scratching and angry undertones.
It’s not often that videos shot on 16mm all shoddy and stuff actually end up offering something original, but Angel Olsen and director Zia Anger pull it off for ‘Forgiven/Forgotten’.
There’s scratching motions that blank out a guy’s head, amazing locations that lend to the track’s ragged but beautiful aesthetic and half of the video is just Angel laughing lots, which is great.
The song itself is taken from Jagjaguwar-readied new album ‘Burn Your Fire For No Witness’, out 17th February. Pre-order the new album now.
