Last week, Christine and the Queens announced details of her forthcoming album ‘Chris’ and now, she’s visited the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform its lead cut.

Taken from the follow-up to her debut ‘Chaleur Humaine’, ‘Girlfriend’ is a slick and brilliantly funky offering and, unsurprisingly, her live rendition certainly doesn’t disappoint.

‘Girlfriend’ gets taken from her second album, ‘Chris’, which is due for release on 21st September via Because Music and will also feature her most recent track ‘Doesn’t matter’.
