Watch: Damon Albarn Performs On Jools Holland

On last night’s Later…With Jools Holland Damon Albarn performed two tracks from his ‘Dr. Dee’ project and now the footage has emerged online.

Watch the Blur frontman play ”The Marvelous Dream’ and ‘O Spirit, Animate Us’ as well as talking to Jools below.

His new studio album, inspired by the life of John Dee - aka mathematician, polymath and advisor to Elizabeth I - is set to be released through Parlophone Records on the 7th May.



Spending the latter part of 2011 recording in his West London studio, he also spent time working alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Salford, before the record was mixed by Valgeir Sigursson in Reykjavik.
