Watch: Damon Albarn Teases ‘Dr Dee’ Release

Damon Albarn has teased the release of his forthcoming album ‘Dr Dee’ with this video, ‘Apple Carts’.

His new studio album, inspired by the life of John Dee - aka mathematician, polymath and advisor to Elizabeth I - is set to be released through Parlophone Records on the 7th May.

Spending the latter part of 2011 recording in his West London studio, he also spent time working alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Salford, before the record was mixed by Valgeir Sigursson in Reykjavik.
