Watch: East India Youth Unveils ‘Looking For Someone’ Video
William Doyle’s debut clip shuns vertigo for a dizzying London-based film.
Ahead of the release of his debut album (out in January 2014), William Doyle aka East India Youth has shared his first ever music video, for the spiralling ‘Looking For Someone’.
Spiral it does. Out from the sky, down London skyscrapers and straight to the ground. That’s the concept behind this Joe Spray-directed clip, which sees England’s capital from a new, dizzying viewpoint. Anyone with vertigo might want to look away - fearless types will find it one of the most immersive videos in ages.
East India Youth is currently on tour with These New Puritans. Read DIY’s review of this week’s London Electric Brixton show.
Doyle headlines London’s Sebright Arms on 20th November.
