Watch: Elbow Unveil New Song, ‘Fly Boy Blue / Lunette’
First take from ‘The Take Off And Landing Of Everything’ contains booming horn sections, spans six minutes.
Elbow have unveiled the first music from their sixth studio album, recently declared to be titled ‘The Take Off And Landing Of Everything’.
The new track comes accompanied with some serious studio footage that essentially says ‘look, we’ve been busy’. The track contains a ravaged, maddening horn solo, plus Guy Garvey’s musings on ‘air traffic control’ and ‘a former MP’ that ‘no-one’s watching.’
‘Fly Boy Blue / Lunette’ is an immediate download for anyone pre-ordering the new record on iTunes.
‘The Take Off And Landing Of Everything’ is released on 3rd March.
