Watch: Flyte Air ‘Where Nobody Knows Your Name’ Video
New performance video includes lots of pained musician expressions from the Flyte boys.
Flyte
keep things simple on their new video, in contrast to last time round when Will Taylor stripped naked in London’s tourist district and built a shrine for Radio 4 presenter Kirsty Young, in ‘We Are The Rain’. This performance video ‘Where Nobody Knows Your Name’ sees lots of intense musician faces - not quite on the level of Este from Haim’s bass face, but it’s a close run thing - filmed in old-school style footage. The band says the ‘didn’t want it to look like everything else you see on YouTube. They always seem to be shot a posh camera with someone under a tree or by a river or in some immaculate warehouse space.’
Watch Flyte’s new video up above. They play London’s Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club on 23rd April. Their debut single is out 28th April and it’s available for pre-order on iTunes now.
