Watch: Foxygen Unveil ‘Shuggie’ Video

The self-professed 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic” preview their forthcoming album.”

Foxygen’s

‘Shuggie’ is a magnificent glam-rock revivalist showdown between every nostalgia trip you’ve ever had. So it’s fair to say that for the accompanying video we were expecting something fuzzy, all-encompassing, maybe even a little difficult to understand.

Directed by Ulysses///Onasis the concept behind the video is fuzzy around the edges. We think it’s got something to do with a child opening a birthday present, finding a black box and said black box possessing some kind of evil spirit. Or at least, that’d explain why most of the video sees various figures running away with the box.
