Laura!
Watch Kanye West’s World AIDS Day Times Square performance in full
Including a golden “Laura, we’re on TV!” blooper.
Last night, New York’s Times Square hosted a surprise, last-minute concert as part of World AIDS Day. Supported by the Red charity, the gig witnessed performances from big names like U2 (fronted by Bruce Springsteen) and Kanye West.
The latter took to a ten-minute medley that arrived with the odd blip - namely, towards the end of ‘Stronger’, the song was intended to cut short, giving way to ‘Touch The Sky’. Instead, it veers on for a couple more verses, leading to an unforgettable Kanye moment: “Laura, next song! We’re on TV.”
He also performed ‘Jesus Walks’ and ‘Black Skinhead’, which cut at the right time.
Watch the performance in full on Dailymotion and the “Laura, we’re on TV” moment below.
