Watch Kevin Parker’s old band Mink Mussel Creek reunite for one night only
The Tame Impala frontman’s old band played a show in Western Australia.
Last week Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker shared a sneaky pic of him and his old band Mink Mussel Creek in the studio, along with the news they were reuniting - apparently for just one night only.
The band also includes Pond’s Shiny Joe Ryan, and former Tame Impala member and Pond frontman Nicholas Allbrook. They released their debut, ‘Mink Mussel Manticore,’ in 2014, after recording it a few years beforehand.
It turns out Mink Mussel Creek were in rehearsals for a one-off gig at Camp Doogs festival in Western Australia, and footage of that show has now made its way online.

Watch Kevin Parker’s old band live in Australia over the weekend below. They take to the stage around the 05:35 mark.
