Watch: Savages Air ‘I Am Here’ Live-Performance Video
Ferocious post-punks go experimental for an Alvin Lucier-inspired video.

Matador singings Savages have gone down an unconventional route for their ‘I Am Here’ video. Half abstract, half enhancing the force of the band’s live show, it’s a performance inspired by Alvin Lucier, whose ‘I am sitting in a room’ technique is channelled.
The process involved overlaying audio several times over until it became a sinister, echoing charge. You can hear the entirety of the band’s Resonant Frequency Recording here.
