Watch The Kills perform ‘Heart of a Dog’ live
The band performed their ‘Ash & Ice’ cut as part of the 6 Music Live Room.

Fresh from gracing the cover of DIY and appearing in London just a week ago, The Kills have offered up another slice of their live show: this time in the form of a performance at BBC Radio 6 Music’s Live Room.
The band, who will release their fifth album early next month, aired its latest cut ‘Heart of a Dog’ and you can watch their jagged, diamond-in-the-rough rendition below.
The duo’s follow-up to 2011’s ‘Blood Pressures’ is due out 3rd June via Domino. It was recorded in Los Angeles and in New York’s Electric Lady Studios.
“We really wanted to mix it up, invite some opportunity,” the band’s Jamie Hince told us, of creating their new record. “We wanted a bit more chaos. We wanted to absorb that into the record.”
