The band’s seventh release will come out through Fat Possum and Bella Union on the 5th June, and was recorded with producer Phil Ek.

The Walkmen-frontman Hamilton Leithauser made the following comment about the release ‘The detachement you can feel throughout our younger records is gone. We felt like it was time to make a bigger, more generous statement.’

Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold will appear on the track ‘No One Ever Sleeps’.

The Walkmen recently performed a tenth anniversary tour to mark a decade since the release of ‘Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone’.
