Watch Wolf Alice take on Scissor Sisters with ‘Take Your Mama’ cover
Piano session saw the chart-botherers joined by Swim Deep’s Austin Williams on piano.
Wolf Alice had quite the Glastonbury weekend. One secret set, a storm-stricken but bonkers performance on the Park Stage (where Ellie Rowsell crowdsurfed for the first time) and the news that their debut album landed on #2 in the charts - it’s no surprise that bassist Theo Ellis was seen leaving Worthy Farm holding an inflatable banana.
As part of their whirlwind weekend, the group stopped by with BBC Music to perform a surreal and unlikely cover of Scissor Sisters’ ‘Take Your Mama’.
They were joined by Swim Deep’s Austin Williams on piano, while drummer Joel Amey took to vocals and maracas duty. The whole thing ends in stifled giggles.
Watch the ‘piano session’ below.
