Wavves ‘ban’ a whole host of people from their shows, including Trump supporters
“i feel the need to make clear who i personally make music for, and who i dont.”
Wavves last night took to Twitter to explain just who they make music for, and who they don’t.
Nathan Williams laid out all the types of people not welcome at one of the band’s shows pretty bluntly, and unsurprisingly that includes supporters of Donald Trump.
Williams said: “it’s come to my attention as we gain more notoriety and our music/label begin to grow there is an inevitable type of person or fan with whom you truly dont share the same thoughts and opinions as.. this being said, some of that is healthy - i dont want everyone at my shows to be a clone of eachother. however in light of the constant rape, murder, racism, homophobia and misogny that goes on seemingly every day i feel the need to make clear who i personally make music for, and who i dont.”
