We Are The Physics Announce Desaparecidos Support
The band will join Conor and gang for two gigs next month.
At the back end of last year, we got all excited as the recently-reformed Desaparecidos announced they were to play their first ever gigs in the UK.
Conor Oberst and chums announced a date in London - quickly upgraded to the Electric Ballroom - and consequently added nights in Glasgow and Manchester, plus Belfast and Dublin in Ireland.
And today, support for two of the dates has been confirmed: science-loving punks We Are The Physics will be joining the band in their home city of Glasgow on 9th February, and again the following night (10th February) in Manchester.
Support for the London date (11th February) has already been announced as Johnny Foreigner.
We Are The Physics released their second album, ‘Your Friend, The Atom’ back in October of last year (via, er, us), featuring singles ‘Goran Ivanisevic’, ‘Applied Robotics’ and ‘Napoleon Loves Josephine’ and ‘Dildonics’. The band are set to announce further live dates in the coming weeks - and will be heading back to play in Russia this March.
Watch the video for ‘Dildonics’ below.
