We Are The Physics share posthumous song, ‘The Beatles (Third Best Band (Approx))’

The band are to play a final gig this May in Cumbria.

We Are The Physics have shared a previously unreleased song online, ahead of their last ever gig.

Titled ‘The Beatles (Third Best Band (Approx))’, the song is just as blisteringly frenetic as we’re used to from the Glasgow-based quartet, plus the accompanying video also features some niftily-edited footage of John, Paul and co - and their screaming fans.

The band’s final gig is set to be at Cumbrian festival Unorthodox Paradox this May, where they headline the Saturday night (23rd May).

We Are The Physics released two albums, ‘We Are The Physics are OK At Music’ in 2008, and ‘Your Friend, The Atom’ in 2012. They disbanded in 2013, but not before starring in Stuart Murdoch’s ‘God Help The Girl’ released last year (with Olly Alexander of Years & Years, fans of facts).
