Wild Beasts have confirmed that they’re working on a new, fifth album - the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Present Tense’.

Frontman Hayden Thorpe updated 5mag on new LP progress, saying the experience of making another record is “incredibly intense.”

“I think with our job in general you don’t have bad days and good days; you have incredible days and terrible days. As much as you try and maintain a balance and a consistency it doesn’t work like that,” he elaborated.

Last week Wild Beasts shared ‘Woebegone Wanderers II’, an additional cut from last year’s LP. The track acts as a sequel to one of their earliest songs.

Wild Beasts’ only UK festival appearance it at Latitude 2015 (16th-19th July).

Wild Beasts will play Latitude (16th-19th July), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
