Willis Earl Beal Arrested At Dutch Festival

Willis Earl Beal was arrested last night after allegedly assaulting a homeless man at a Dutch festival.

Performing at Utrect’s Le Guess Who? Festival, Beal is said to have kicked the man, who began hassling the singer, in the face during the show. Cutting his set short, Beal told the audience: ‘Because of a few bad apples, we all miss out on one more glorious, fantastic, lovely performance. I love you, and I even love the guy whose face I kicked in. I love him, too. He’s a good guy! He’s just drunk, a little.’

RTV Utrecht (via Pitchfork reports the singer remains in custody for aggravated assault.

Willis Earl Beal’s debut album ‘Acousmatic Sorcery’ was released earlier this year.
