Yaeji debuts new single ‘Passed Me By’

The singer’s debut album ‘With A Hammer’ is out on Friday.

Yaeji has shared her new single, ‘Passed Me By’. The track is the third single, after ‘For Granted’ and ‘Done (Let’s Get It)’, to be taken from the artist’s upcoming debut album, ‘With A Hammer’, which is due for release on Friday (7th April). Notably, it contains a line that is sung in Korean, which translates to “I almost didn’t recognise you,” which was addressed to Yaeji’s younger self. The accompanying visuals for the track witness the artist come face to face with her younger self - check it out below. In our five star review of ‘With A Hammer’, we said: “In its refusal to sound anything like its alt-pop predecessors, ‘With A Hammer’ is a breath of fresh air: innovative yet familiar, lackadaisically cool yet brave, a brilliant and sparkling window into the future.” Yaeji will be making her Coachella debut following a North American tour this month.
