YOWL return with new single ‘Virile Crocodile Sweat’

The band have also dropped UK/EU tour dates

YOWL have dropped a new single, ‘Virile Crocodile Sweat’. It’s the South London quintet’s first song since 2020’s ‘Sunken Boy’. You can watch the video for ‘Virile Crocodile Sweat’ below. Says Gabriel of YOWL: “I generally try to avoid meta ‘songs about songwriting’, but this one’s about the frustration that comes with feeling like you’re on the cusp of getting something good down but that ‘perfect next line’ continues to elude you.” “It’s an ode to all the collaging of inspiration and fakery that goes into sketching out a song, as well as that sensation I’m sure a lot of bands feel when they’re trying to give a heartfelt performance of a piece that they’re still feeling out - hence the crocodile sweat / crocodile tears analogy.” The band will embark on their UK/EU tour all throughout October - find the dates below: OCTOBER 9 - Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds 10 - Polar Bear, Hull 11 - Heartbreakers, Southampton 12 - Ramsgate Music Hall, Ramsgate 13 - Hope & Ruin, Brighton 14 - Supersonic, Paris, France 17 - La Revelin, Toulouse France 19 - Left Of The Dial, Rotterdam, Netherlands 20 - Left Of The Dial, Rotterdam, Netherlands 21 - Moth Club, London 27 - Crofters Rights, Bristol 28 - Bodega, Nottingham
