Taking things at his own pace, London slacker Niall Galvin is making some seriously surf-able waves under the Only Real moniker. Yet to play a live show and with only two tracks behind him, it’s testament to his consistent quality and distinct rhymes that his rise has gathered such velocity.
New single ‘Backseat Kissers’ is his finest work to date – dreamy sun-kissed grooves ring out as Galvin spits effortless poetry about love, life and erm… oven chips. The deft cadence and reality of his words inject vitality, providing a welcome contrast to the escapist vibes that make up the backdrop of the song.
