Marina and the Diamonds previews ‘Froot’ with ‘I’m A Ruin’

Lovelorn synth-pop anthem is taken from Marina’s new album.

Marina and the Diamonds has unveiled her latest “Froot of the month”, showcasing a track from forthcoming LP ‘Froot’.

Aired last night on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show, ‘I’m A Ruin’ is another affected take from the record, beginning lovelorn and sombre before finding ‘Froot’-laced escape in energy-flowing choruses. Shout out to the best “yeah, yeah - uh-huh” of the year so far.

‘Froot’ is released on 6th April 2015 via Atlantic. So far, Marina’s showcased the title-track, ‘Happy’, ‘Immortal’ and ‘I’m A Ruin’.
