Premiere
April Towers score big with ‘Modern Psyche’
Premiering on DIY, the FIFA 16 soundtrack stars have yet another ace up their sleeve with their new single.
With previous single ‘A Little Bit Of Fear’ sitting pretty on the FIFA 16 soundtrack, April Towers have already marked themselves out as an eardrum mainstay for thousands as we head into the new year. Before that though, there’s the little matter of a slot on DIY’s stage at Community Festival in London this November. And before even that, they’re casting off new single ‘Modern Psyche, premiering on DIY below. Busy, eh?
‘Modern Psyche’ proves April Towers have got the energy for it all. As the Nottingham duo launch straight into their 100mph take on synth-pop, it’s touches base with everything from Shamir’s poppers’o’clock electro madness to the arms-aloft euphoria of Pet Shop Boys-aping dual harmonies.
As well as the aforementioned Community Festival slot, April Towers are heading out on the following tour dates. Catch ‘em if you can - you can stream ‘Modern Psyche’ below.
