Wild Beasts are back! Dive into ‘Get My Bang’ from new album ‘Boy King’

The wait is over - Wild Beasts are back.

‘Boy King’, the group’s new album, is due August 5th via Domino. It’s being led by ‘Get My Bang’, a gloomy as hell, shape-shifting number that finds the group exploring filthy new caves. Sleazy as hell and drenching their darkness in neon - hear it below, alongside a noir new video and some wonderful dance moves. Lots of thrusting, too.

Speaking on the new album, dreamboat frontman Hayden Thorpe got a bit ‘ooh-err’. “It became apparent that that guitar almost became the character within the songs, that phallic character, the all-conquering male,” he says. “I’m letting my inner Byron fully out, I thought I’d tucked him away, but he came screaming back like the Incredible Hulk.”
