Woah
The xx just shared some new music
A 55-second ambient clip has appeared on Spotify.
The first taste of The xx’s new album may have arrived.
Appearing on Spotify overnight, the 55-second clip was added to the band’s in-the-studio playlist. Uncredited, with completely blank artwork, it’s a slice of sweeping, very-xx-esque ambience. While it’s not credited to The xx themselves, vocals that sound rather a lot like Romy Madley-Croft’s are buried within, and it’s listed as belonging to Young Turks, the band’s long-time label home.
