Listen: Sigur Rós share new tracks ‘Match’ and ‘End’

They’re taken from the latest ‘Black Mirror’ soundtrack.
There’s a new season of ‘Black Mirror’ currently airing on Netflix and if you listen closely to the soundtrack for the episode ‘Hang the DJ’, you might catch a glimpse of new music from Icelandic giants Sigur Rós.
Yep, as reported by Pitchfork, the band contributed two new tracks to the soundtrack for the episode, which was helmed by Alex Somers (who’s worked extensively with the group in the past, including on a score to Cameron Crowe’s 2015 film ‘Aloha’).
‘Match’ and ‘End’ are the two tunes in question. The former is a short and intense piece, while the latter takes more time to build up into an eerie soundscape. Both are equally atmospheric.
Towards the end of last year, Jónsi announced details of ‘Frakkur 2000-2004’, a collection of previously unreleased solo electronic material.
Listen to ‘Match’ and ‘End’ below.
