Parcels confirm details of debut album and share ‘Lightenup’
The self-titled effort comes out next month via Kitsuné / Because Music.

Buzzy Australians Parcels revealed new single ‘BEMYSELF’ back in July alongside the news that their debut album would be coming out later this year.
The record - which is self-titled - has now been given a release date. The album will come out on 12th October via Kitsuné / Because Music.
It’s being previewed by another new track called ‘Lightenup’. The song comes along with a fancy, filmic new video.
The new song, the band say, is influenced by “disco and funk and classic grooving music. And it was an important song to us because the lyrics come from the voice of the band. Usually the lyrics are personal. But these ones are really coming from the band. That’s the most representative of us.”
